Out with the old, in with the new! 2017 brings a new monthly event called Catholic Conversations! We’ll talk about Catholic stuff. Hope to see you there!
Come join us for another round of Catholic Conversations. Thursday night we’ll be discussing prayer, it’s role in our life, what lies at the essence of it, and common misconceptions. We’ll also be tacking a very related subject, the kerygma, and exploring its relationship with our prayer. How is this “initial gospel proclamation designed to introduce a person to Christ and to appeal for conversion” essential to our prayer? Come find out! We hope to see you there! 😉

Do you like to eat king’s cake and enjoy good conversation? Have you ever been called to serve drinks to the elderly on Fat Tuesday? Well now you have an opportunity to do all of the above with your friends in Christ at St. Ann’s Retirement Home. We have been invited to convers, serve, and enjoy a good evening with the residents to celebrate the beginning of the Lenten season! We hope to see you there!!!
Hey you there! Yeah you with the arms and legs. Do you wanna come help some holy men while having great fellowship and enjoying the outdoors?
Clear Creek Monastery is on roughly 1000 acres east of Tulsa with roughly 50 monks living religious life there. It’s hard to keep up with so much land (20 acres a piece for a couple hours at best each day) when bad ice storms or other weather incidents take out trees and the like.
So in order to keep them from taking years to get everything done that they need we’ll be going to volunteer one of our 52 Saturdays of the year in service to them. We’ll do whatever they need help with but think groundskeeping chores.
We’ll leave the pastoral center early on the morning carpooling together and work all day. Lunch will be provided and we’ll probably grab a hearty dinner together in Tulsa after all our hard work. We’ll be back sometime in the evening.
If you have any questions or plan to join, please email firstname.lastname@example.org

The second Thursday of the month! What does that mean? That means a lot of awesome people get together to have fun, eat delicious food, and/or grab a drink or two! Most importantly, we all get together to meet new and old friends and learn more about this awesome Catholic Young adult group and what we do! It has been nothing short of amazing to see 40-70 amazing young adults attend at each of our first few events of the year! Let’s keep that momentum and share the love that our God has given us endlessly! The group has grown so much and it’s thanks to you all! You all rock! See you at Fassler Hall!
As usual there will be adoration available from 6pm through the evening at St. Josephs Old Cathedral (just a mile or so from Fassler)! If you are interested, please contact Dominic Hoang (405-204-1012) or Calvin brown (405-543-4331) and one of us will give you the code to enter the church!
