For those of you who have never heard of Fr. Phil, he served as a chaplain in the U.S. Navy for over 20 years. Now, he lives in the middle of a pasture out in the country as a religious hermit.

So how does one go from serving in combat to living with cows? Come to Theology on Tap this week and hear Fr. Phil’s story about living out his faith in the military and in solitude. There will be BBQ, beer, and a lot of great Catholic people to meet!

Feel free to come a little early if you want to get your dinner before he talks. He only leaves his home once or twice a month, so it is really an honor for us to have him as our guest.

We will also be going to adoration at St. Joseph’s Old Cathedral from 6:00-7:00pm before Theology on Tap. It’s only one block away from Blu’s, so it is within easy walking distance. If you join us for adoration, please enter through the north door of the church just off the main parking lot. Message me or Dominic Hoang if you need the key code to unlock the door. Adoration will be all night so if you can’t make it before Theology on Tap, feel free to go afterwards.

We hope to see you there!

How about we relax and come together for amazing conversation, delicious food, and a great variety of drinks! Continue to be awesome! It would be wonderful to see you at Fassler!

NEW: Please join us for adoration at St. Joseph’s Old Cathedral prior to the social from 6:00-7:00pm Thursday evening. Enter through the back door on the north side of the church building where the main parking lot is located. The door is locked, but if you are interested in attending please contact Dominic Hoang (405-204-1012) or FB messengrt for the key code to unlock the door.
