Do you like to poke, prod, and cut things but can never find the perfect opportunity? You’ll have your chance at the second annual CYA PUMPKIN CARVING PARTY!!!
We will have some snacks and drinks, but you will have to bring your own pumpkins and carving tools. Last year ALDI had pumpkins on sale for only $2.50, so you should check them out! And if you aren’t one of those people that likes to poke, prod, and cut things, feel free to paint your pumpkin too! That would be better for me since I have to come to work the next day and don’t really want to smell pumpkin. Last year my garage smelled like pumpkin for a week…
You should come even if you’re not in to carving pumpkins because I mopped my garage floor for the first time in a year and I’m really proud of it. You should SEE IT! If you want to bring a table and chairs, that’s cool too, but since I MOPPED THE FLOOR you can also sit there.
People tell me my place is a little difficult to find (even though I have NEVER gotten lost), so GOOGLE MAP IT: 7408 N.W. 83rd Street, Oklahoma City, OK 73132.
Hope to see you all there

In just three weeks our nation will choose the next leader of the free world. I know most of us would like to write in Archbishop Coakley on our ballots, but something tells me he doesn’t have much of a chance against the other overly-qualified, honest, and trust-worthy candidates that are running.
Since there isn’t a single candidate who represents all Catholic values, how are we supposed to decide which one to vote for? This month we welcome Richard Klinge, Associate Director of Social Justice at Catholic Charities. While he will not tell us who to vote for, he will be discussing the idea of Faithful Citizenship and our political responsibility as Catholics.
So if you want to hear a great talk about discerning our voting responsibilities in relation to our faith, come on out to Theology on Tap this Thursday and see why it’s our most popular event. There will be great food, beer, and fellowship with other Catholic young adults from around the Archdiocese.
ALSO: Please join us for adoration at St. Joseph’s Old Cathedral prior to Theology on Tap from 6:00-7:00pm Thursday evening. For those who have never been, St. Joe’s is located at 307 NW 4th Street, one block west of where we will be having Theology on Tap. Enter through the back door on the north side of the church building where the main parking lot is located. The door is locked, but if you are interested in attending please contact me or Dominic Hoang (405-204-1012) for the key code to unlock the door. Hope to see you there!

Hello friends! Hope you all are enjoying the fall weather so far!
Did you know???…..
No word in the English language rhymes with month, orange, silver, and purple.
The only food that does not spoil is honey.
The leg bones of a bat are so thin that they are unable to walk.
If you didn’t know, now you know!
It’s that time of the month when we meet at Fassler Hall! It’s always a great time with new and old friends! Oh and there is food, drink, and other things available for you to enjoy! This event is great to visit with fellow young adults in the community that share the same faith you do! It’s always a positive atmosphere! We welcome you and hope to see you at the Catholic Young Adult Social!
