This month’s Theology on Tap speaker will be Patrick Raglow, executive director of Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of OKC. Mr. Raglow will be talking to us about several interesting topics, including Catholic Social Teaching and some of the ministries that Catholic Charities provides.
Before coming to Catholic Charities, Mr. Raglow spent 21 years in the Air Force, rising to the rank of Colonel, so he will also be talking to us about some of his experiences serving in the military and how his faith played an integral role in his daily duties.
Let me tell you guys: I’ve been told that this guy is really hard to schedule–he’s THAT good. Frankly, I’m not even sure how we were able to book him as a speaker. This may or may not be your only opportunity to ever meet him (he’s a pretty big deal).
So if you want to hear a GREAT speaker, partake in some GREAT barbecue, and spend some time with some other GREAT Catholic young adults, come join us this Thursday. You’ll see why Theology on Tap is our most popular event.
Time: Sunday July 17th, 2016 @ 4PM.

Did you know?
“Summer” came from the Old English name for that time of year, sumor. This, in turn, came from the Proto-Germanic sumur-, which itself came from the Proto-Indo-European rootsam- (sam- seems to be a variant of the Proto-Indo-European sem-, meaning “together / one”).
The “dog days of summer” refer to the weeks between July 3 and August 11.
This means…… YOU should come on out during the Dog Days of Summer (July 14th) and learn more about this amazing Catholic group we share. As we come TOGETHER at Fassler Hall you will be surrounded by great friends, fellowship, food, drinks, and conversation! We are confident that you will have a great time! Hope to see new and old smiling faces at Fassler!

Prayer: Ever wonder why some prayers get answered and some don’t? That’s the mystery of our God. He is a beautiful mystery who we need to focus more on and deepen our relationship with through our prayer life.
Join us for Prayer Night this Thursday as we contemplate on Him through discussion, adoration, and through the fellowship with one another. We can’t wait to see you all there! Have a blessed week!
It’s at St. Andrew’s in Moore, in the large building behind the church.
