NightFever will be happening in OKC in September 17, 2016 at St Joseph’s Old Cathedral. For this to be a success, we need people like YOU to volunteer their time and talent. The goal is to create an open church for people to come to with an open heart. We are looking for people to help create an environment that opens hearts to Christ, greeters, musicians, adorers, people who can reach out and invite others to come light a candle and say a prayer in the church, etc. If you are interested, please come to this event to learn more and help us make this a success!

Hello you all! We will be attending Christ the King Catholic Church for our monthly Church Visit with Mass! This is a great way to enjoy the amazing Catholic Church’s in OKC and surrounding cities. And of course the great congregation they each have! Some of us will stay after Mass to spread the word about Catholic Young Adults of Oklahoma City and what we are all about! Please feel free to attend Mass and/or hang out for a bit afterwards! We will most likely grab lunch after Mass! Please come a bit earlier so that we can all sit together! And if you have a CYA shirt, wear it! Mass is at 10:00a.m. Hope to see you at Christ the King Catholic Church!

Joy and happiness. Everyone seeks it, but not everyone finds it. It is only found in God.
Come and join us for prayer night as we discuss this great desire among us and we as gather for adoration.
It will be a great time to focus on Him in the midst of the busyness of our week and socialize with other young adults!
We would love to see you all again!
Remember it is located in the large building behind the church, St. Andrew’s in Moore.

Venite ICTUS in theologia nobiscum!
TAKE THAT all you naysayers that said I shouldn’t take Latin in high school because I would never use it!
Do you want to know what that means? Me neither, but if you come to Theology on Tap, I’ll tell you what Google Translate says it means. This month we’re going to be learning about the Latin Mass. Did you know that the Latin Mass was universally used for almost 500 years until only recently? Fr. Robert Dow from St. Damien of Molokai parish will be speaking about the history and the significance of the Latin Mass in the Catholic Church.
I know what you’re thinking and he WILL be speaking to us in ENGLISH. So come on out, socialize a little, learn a lot, and eat and drink your fill with us! We promise you’ll have a great time!
Videre te ibi!

It costs the U.S. government 1.8 cents to mint a penny and 9.4 cents to mint a nickel.
The average supermarket in the United States wastes about 3,000 pounds of food each year.
Montana has three times as many cows as it does people.
There is actually a town in Michigan called “Hell“.
Not sure if you knew those facts about America… but if you didn’t, now you know!
The 2nd Thursday of this month is coming up! What does that mean!? It means a lot of people are ending the semester or even graduating! It means a whole lot of friendly faces will be meeting up to socialize and learn more about our Catholic Young Adult group! It means we will meet at Fassler Hall in Midtown OKC to hang out and enjoy the great atmosphere, food, and drink! Lastly it means you are invited to come out and enjoy fellowship that I find hard to beat! Please invite others! We hope to see you soon!!!
